Harry Pliny was working on a tricky pluming spell when a Basilisk Dragon burst through the pipes. The poor wizard was so startled he just stood there, gawking like he had been turned to stone, as the massive dragon casually santered by--right towards his pumpermelon patch! The dragon used its gaping gullet to scoop up whole swathes of the crop, then it licked its claws, yawned its massive maw, curled up amidst the remaining pumpermelons, and went to sleep. Later on, Harry wrote in his journal, "the sight of the beast had me nearly stupefied! I don't know what was more startling, the sight of the dragon appearing less than a stone's throw away, or the rate at which it devoured my pumpermelons."
